VALSOLO Tour Proficiency Game Levels
To preserve the integrity, elegance, and competitive balance of the VALSOLO Tour, all participants are classified according to the following distinguished levels of play:
Level B — Refined Competitive Class
An elevated intermediate tier reserved for players with a polished command of the sport.
Possess years of playing experience, often participating in organized leagues or semi-professional circuits.
Exhibit confident execution of a broad repertoire of strokes: slice volleys, deep lobs, fast-paced bandejas, and strategic walls.
Understand the rhythm and flow of elite rallies, adapting to pressure with calm tactical intelligence.
Demonstrate sophisticated teamwork, fluid court transitions, and precision placement.
Level B players may not yet be elite, but they embody a mature, ambitious game and are often on the cusp of advanced-level mastery.
B+ (High Advanced):
Exceptionally skilled players with extensive tournament experience. Demonstrates strong tactical awareness, aggressive net play, consistent overheads, and fast recovery. Maintains full composure under pressure and often plays semi-professionally.B (Advanced):
Confident in all areas of play. Maintains consistency during extended rallies, executes volleys and bandejas with accuracy, and reads opponents’ strategies effectively. Regularly competes and wins matches at club or regional level.B- (Lower Advanced):
Solid technical base with good movement and shot variation. May lack consistency under pressure but understands advanced positioning and teamwork. Competes well in structured leagues or upper-level social tournaments.
Level C — Cultured Intermediate Tier
For players of solid recreational pedigree with developing technical and tactical acumen.
Have a working command of padel and tennis fundamentals and play regularly, often weekly.
Comfortable executing standard strokes under moderate pressure, including forehands, backhands, volleys, and basic lobs.
Growing awareness of court dynamics and teamwork; positioning is improving but not instinctive.
May struggle with consistency during high-speed exchanges but thrive in structured rallies.
Still refining spin usage, net play, and shot anticipation against aggressive opponents.
Unforced errors remains present throughout the game, affecting the player’s momentum at key moments.
Detailed brake down of Level C:
C+ (High Intermediate):
Steady and improving player. Displays control on forehand and backhand, decent wall play, and effective net transitions. Still refining advanced strokes (viboras, chiquitas) and tactical depth, but poses a strong challenge in mid-level matches.C (Intermediate):
Comfortable with court basics, rallies, and positioning. Understands rules and scoring, and shows potential in teamwork and anticipation. May struggle with consistency and defensive play, but participates actively in club games.C- (Lower Intermediate):
Has foundational understanding of the game. Can maintain short rallies and apply basic techniques. Still developing footwork, serves, and awareness of optimal court zones.
Level D — Elegant Entry Tier
A gracious introduction to the racket sport lifestyle, where enthusiasm meets early development.
Either newly initiated to the padel and tennis, or playing casually with occasional match exposure.
Basic grasp of racket sport rules and scoring; strokes are developing in form, power, and placement.
Limited tactical awareness, with a focus on enjoying the game while gaining confidence.
May rely more on natural instinct than precision; movement and reaction time are still maturing.
Best suited for social competition, friendly events, or those beginning their journey into more refined play.

D+ (High Beginner):
Recently progressed beyond novice stage. Capable of sustaining simple rallies and starting to implement basic tactics. Actively working on mobility, serves, and court coverage with growing confidence.D (Beginner):
New to padel or returning from long break. Can perform basic shots and understands scoring system. Learning movement, timing, and teamwork in match scenarios.D- (Introductory):
First-time or trial players. Just beginning to understand racket handling, positioning, and gameplay structure. Requires guidance and experience before entering formal competition.
Each level is assessed by observation, match history, and self-declaration under the supervision of VALSOLO officials. Our goal is to pair you with the right challenge while maintaining an exceptional padel experience at every tier.
