-
Session 2: 10 teams will play from 12:00 to 13:50

Should demand require, a Session 4 will be introduced, with its play window elegantly set from 16:00 to 17:50, maintaining the tour’s commitment to fairness, balance, and a seamless competitive experience.
Conversely, should the number of registered teams fall below expectations, the distribution of participants across each group and session will be thoughtfully refined to preserve competitive integrity and balance. In such cases, sessions may be reduced or consolidated accordingly, while ensuring that every match retains the elevated standard, flow, and prestige synonymous with an ELITE GRAND FINALS Tour Event by VALSOLO Tour.
Matchmaking System
-
Heat 1: Teams play opponents randomly assigned
-
Heat 2: Matchups based on points earned in Hit 1
-
Heat 3: Matchups based on cumulative points from Hits 1 & 2
-
Scoring Basis: Total games won, not just match outcomes
Court King Play Format for group plays
Overview
-
Signature play court King format used during group heats
-
Each session lasts 1 hour and 50 minutes
-
Uses 5 courts (with the number of courts adaptable if required, as per Group Structure section above) simultaneously
Gameplay Rules:
-
Start & Whistle System:
-
Golden Ball Rule:
-
During Court King Play games (not tie-breakers), if the game score reaches 40–40 (deuce), a Golden Ball rule applies:
-
-
-
A single deciding point will be played to determine the winner of the game.
-
No two-point advantage is required.
-
The receiving team chooses which player will receive the serve.
-
The winner of the Golden Ball wins the game.
-
-
-
Court Movement Rules:
-
Winners move up one court (to a lower number)
-
Losers move down one court (to a higher number)
-
E.g., Court 2:
-
Winner → Court 1
-
Loser → Court 3
-
-
-
Court shifts occur repeatedly throughout the sessions
-
-
Final Standings:
-
Last court positions at session’s end determine rankings:
-
Court 1: Winner = 1st place, Loser = 2nd place
-
Court 2: 3rd & 4th place
-
Court 3: 5th & 6th place
-
Down to Court 5
-
-
-
Point Allocation (End of Session):
-
At the conclusion of the 1 hour and 50 minutes, the following additional points are awarded:
-
1st place: 50 points
-
2nd place: 25 points
-
3rd place: 10 points
-
4th place: 5 points
-
-
These points are added and collected only for The ELITE GRAND FINALS Tour Event purposes to track the overall result of this tour event.
-
-
Tie-Break Procedure After Heat 3:
-
In the event that two or more teams finish Heat 3 with an equal number of total points, on the same day those teams shall engage in a single, decisive game to determine final placement. This one game, a tie-break game will follow traditional scoring and must be won with a two-point advantage.
If the game reaches 40–40 (deuce), play continues until one team wins two consecutive points, thereby securing victory.
The winner of this tie-break game will be awarded the higher placement and, where applicable, progress to the Knockout Stage.
Team’s Availability & Attendance Rules – Group Stage
-
Once entered into the tour, teams must be available:
-
Daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (or later depending on the scheduled session amount (read: Group Structure & Playing Schedule) for details information.)
-
-
All players must arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled match
-
Delay Penalty System:
-
If one or both team members are not present at the official start time:
-
The opposing team will automatically receive 2 points (2 games) for every 5 minutes of delay
-
This is based on the tour’s point system, where games won = ranking points
-
If a team fails to start playing within 15 minutes, the match may be declared forfeited at the discretion of the organizers (on case-by-case basis)
-
-
-
Chronic lateness may result in disqualification from the current tour without a refund
Knockout Stage Format Overview – (Semi-Finals & Finals):
Overview
-
Day 14: Semi-Finals
-
Top 4 teams from each group qualifies
-
Winners → Final, Losers → 3rd Place Match
-
-
Day 16: Finals
-
1st and 3rd Place matches
-
-
-
-
The first team to win two sets claims victory.
-
If both teams win one set each, a decisive third set will be played.
-
In the event of a 6–6 tie in any of the sets played, a tiebreak to 7 points will be held, with a minimum two-point advantage required to win.
-
-
Traditional Scoring Applies Within Each Set for Each Game:
Matches will follow the full tournament scoring format. If the game score reaches 40–40 (deuce), play continues until one team wins two consecutive points, thus securing the game. No sudden-death or golden point rules apply—only classic, refined competitive tennis. -
Important Note:
In the Knockout Stage, the winners are determined strictly by the match result – that is, by winning two out of three sets. The number of games won during the match will not be counted like in other VALSOLO Tour Events. No additional bonus points (such as those awarded in Court King Play) will be applied. This ensures a clear distinction between match victory and ranking progression, maintaining both competitive clarity and the prestige of the knockout phase.
Matchmaking System
The semi-final matchups are determined based on the total points earned by the 1st place teams in each group:
-
The highest-scoring 1st place team will be paired with the second-highest.
-
The third-highest will face the fourth-highest.
-
-
-
E.g., If Group C’s winner has the most points and Group A’s winner has the second-most (based on point ranking order), then:
-
-
-
-
-
-
Group C vs Group A
-
Group B vs Group D
-
-
-
